Do I incur any PCI or GDPR obligations when I accept a payment through Nomod?

When accepting a payment using Nomod, payment data is encrypted instantly, not stored on your device, and transmitted securely to our regulated payment processing and banking partners. Nomod’s regulated payment and banking partners are PCI DSS certified, so you can assure your customers that your business uses a PCI approved payment service.

Nomod adheres to strict privacy rules in relation to any data that we have to process as described in our privacy policy. Simply accepting a payment using Nomod does not usually mean that you will collect any personal data from your customers. If you collect a customer’s email address to send them a receipt though, you must obtain clear written consent from them if you wish to also use that email address for other purposes, like marketing or offers.
