Setting up your Terminal

Your terminal connects to the internet on its own, so you don't need to connect it to Wi-Fi or another device. Just turn it on and sign in with your existing Nomod account.

If it doesn't turn on, plug it in and let it charge for a few minutes, then try again.

Taking your first payment

Your terminal is now ready to use. See Taking payments to take your first card, contactless or QR code payment.

Using Terminal as a team

If other members of your Team need to use Terminal, they can sign in with their own Nomod details. What they can see and do depends on the permissions available to their role.

Securing your device

You can use a passcode and App lock to protect your device from unauthorised access. Your passcode protects actions such as refunds, and unlocks your terminal. App lock locks your terminal when it hasn't been used for a while, and you'll need your passcode to unlock it.

Creating a passcode

1. Go to Settings > Account > Login & security
2. Select Create passcode
3. Enter a new passcode
4. Enter it again to confirm

Turning on App lock

1. Go to Settings > Account > Login & security
2. Tap the toggle to turn on App lock
