Understanding In-Person Payments
Tailor your In-Person payments to each transaction by adding valuable details like the items you're selling, the customer you're selling to, automatically-calculated discounts, and more.

Adding prices
When you tap In-Person, you can immediately set the price for your first product.
- To edit the price, tap Item Name
- To use a different currency, select one from the currency list
Adding products
Your first product will be named Item Name by default.
- Tap on a product to edit its name and quantity
- To add more products, tap Add Item
- To delete a product, swipe left on it
- To add products directly from your Catalogue, tap Add Product
Adding a discount
Tap % to choose a preset discount. For a fixed amount, enter the value in the field.
Letting a Customer add a tip
Tap the Wallet to choose a tip as a percentage of the total. For a fixed amount, enter the value in the field.
Adding a Note
Tap the Chat to add a note that describes the product or service you're charging for. For example, "Hair care kit for kids" or "Gift box for wife".
Linking a Customer
To add a customer to an In-Person payment, tap on the Add Customer icon on the top right corner. Then, select a customer or add a new one.
Sending a receipt
Tap Send Receipt to send the Customer a receipt of the payment to their email.
Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC)
Dynamic Currency Conversion is available for international card payments and includes a currency selection step that allows your customers to confirm their preferred payment currency. We recommend selecting the customer's home currency, as Nomod offers competitive exchange rates without extra bank or conversion fees.
