Here are a few things you might find helpful in this step:
- Place your Emirates ID on a flat surface.
- Make sure there’s no glare or reflections during scanning
- Hold your phone steady while taking the selfie
- Use good lighting (natural light works best!)
- Ensure you’re alone in the frame
- Wipe your front and back cameras to improve image quality
Step 2: Upload required documents
- Upload your trade license if you are setting up as a Business
- Upload your freelance permit if you’re setting up as an Individual and you have one.
- Upload any of the following documents to confirm your trading address:
- A utility bill (Etisalat, du, DEWA, SEWA, ADDC, Empower, or FEWA)
- A recent bank statement
- A registered tenancy contract in your name, like Ejari (Dubai), Tawtheeq (Abu Dhabi/Sharjah), or Tasdeeq (Ajman)
Here are a few tips to note when uploading your documents:
- Use a recent utility bill (from the last 3 months) that’s easy to read. A PDF is best.
- Make sure your name and address are clearly visible on your documents.
Step 3: Describe your business
- Select the industry that your business operates in
- Fill out the following details:
- Your business name exactly as it appears on your trade license

- Your Tax Registration Number (TRN)
- Your business address
- Your Trading Address, if you operate your business somewhere other than your business address
- Answer a few short questions about your customers, products, and services
Step 4: Add your bank account information
This is the bank account where your payouts will be sent. Enter the following:
- Account holder’s name
- IBAN (International Bank Account Number)
- Select the account type (Business or Individual)
Step 5: Submit supporting information
- Tell us where we can find your business online, like your website, Instagram, or Google Business Profile.
- Confirm your business activity with pictures or documents that show the type of products or services you sell, like:
- Customer invoice

Accuracy of information provided
Nomod is for legitimate businesses only. You must be an authorised representative of the business you are signing up for Nomod. We may ask for evidence of this. The more detail you can provide about what your business sells, where, how, and to whom, together with supporting evidence, the easier it will be for us to complete verification of your business. Links to your business’ website, social media profiles, and customer reviews will also help us to build a picture of your business. Always ensure the information you enter is true and accurate. We will not be able to verify your business with incorrect information.
Restricted businesses
We don’t work with the types of businesses listed on our restricted businesses list. Please note that we’re currently unable to serve businesses or individuals subject to international sanctions. These lists are non-exhaustive and are updated regularly. If you’re not sure whether your business is described above, or if you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
