Card

A virtual Visa card to spend online or in-person with your Apple Pay or Google Pay wallet.

Create a Card

You can create a Card once your Nomod account is fully verified. Tap the Card icon on the Homescreen in the Nomod app.

Cards can be created in USD, AED, GBP and EUR. You can have up to ten (10) Cards at any given time.

Set Card as your Active Payout Method

Your Nomod balance can paid out to your Card instead of your bank account. Navigate to Settings > Payout Method and select the Card you would like your payouts to be processed to.

You may only have one Card selected as your active payout method at any given time. You can choose another card or your bank account to receive your payout on the next cycle.

The following fees are applicable to Card:

Cross Border Fee

1.5% + USD 0.30 / AED 1.00 / EUR 0.40 / GBP 0.30

Transactions outside the country recognised as the issuer of a given issuing currency will incur a cross border fee

FX Fee

1.5%

Transactions in currencies other than the issuing currency will incur an FX fee

Dispute Fee

USD 15.00

Per dispute if not resolved in your favour

Additional Cards

Free up to and including the fifth Card, after which, USD 2.00 per Card

The cost incurred to issue more than five Cards

Restrictions

Cards can be used like any regular virtual Visa payment card for typical purchases. Currently, they cannot be used at ATMs, for cash advances, and with some money transfer services.

Disputing unauthorised transactions

If you believe that there is an error or unauthorised transaction on your Card, please contact us via [email protected] as soon as possible, and at most within ninety (90) days of the date of the transaction.
